Service description

Sitemapaudit is a diagnostic tool that checks whether the URLs listed in a sitemap still serve live pages. You provide a sitemap URL, and the tool fetches the sitemap, follows sitemap-index recursion, and requests each listed URL. It returns a report of HTTP statuses, redirects, and lastmod analysis. The tool operates on a per-request basis. No data is stored, no accounts are created, and no subscriptions are currently available for purchase.

Eligibility and use

You may use this tool for any lawful purpose. You do not need to register, create an account, or provide personal information. You may not use the tool to probe, attack, or degrade any website or service. The tool makes HTTP requests to the URLs in the sitemap you provide, which is functionally equivalent to visiting those URLs in a browser.

No warranties

This tool is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. The audit results are a point-in-time snapshot and may change if the audited site is redeployed or updated. The tool may not reach every URL due to network conditions, timeouts, or platform limitations (including Cloudflare's restriction on Worker-to-Worker connections). No guarantee is made that the tool will detect every type of sitemap drift.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of this tool shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the tool, including but not limited to reliance on audit results for business decisions.

Intellectual property

The tool, its code, and its visual design are provided as a hosted service. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the tool or its underlying code except as permitted by applicable law.

Third-party content

The tool fetches content from URLs you provide. The operator of this tool is not responsible for the content, availability, or accuracy of those third-party URLs. The tool's report reflects the HTTP response it received at the time of checking, which is provided for informational purposes only.

No stored data

This tool does not store audit results, sitemap URLs, or any personal data on its server. Each request is processed and discarded. Cloudflare's edge infrastructure may retain request metadata for operational purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

Billing

Free tier. The Free tier of Sitemapaudit is $0 per month. All features shown as Available on the Free plan are included at no cost, with no time limit and no obligation. You do not need to provide a payment method or create an account to use the Free tier.

Pro tier — planned, not yet purchasable. Sitemapaudit does not currently have a connected payment processor. No subscription or one-off payment can be accepted today. The Pro plan shown on the pricing page ($9 per month) describes the intended product direction. It is not available for purchase and no billing relationship exists between you and the operator.

When payments are wired (the operator adds Stripe or a comparable processor), the following will apply to paid subscriptions:

What you buy. A Pro subscription grants access to the features listed as Available or Planned on the Pro tier for the duration of your billing period. The subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled.

Billing period. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. The first charge occurs at the start of your subscription. Subsequent charges occur on the same calendar day each month.

Failed payments. If a payment fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), the payment processor retries the charge automatically up to three times over a seven-day period. If all retries fail, access to Pro features is suspended until the payment succeeds. The subscription remains active during the retry period so that a successful retry restores access immediately with no gap.

Refunds. Refunds are issued at the operator’s discretion. Subscriptions cancelled mid-cycle do not receive a prorated refund for the remainder of the billing period, but continue to be accessible until the end of the paid period. If the service becomes unavailable due to an error on the operator’s side, a full refund for the affected period will be issued on request.

Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Current status. None of the above is in effect today because no payment processor is connected. This section will take effect on the date the operator announces that payments have been wired. Until then, the Free tier is the only available service.

Changes to these terms

These terms will be updated when a legal entity is registered, and at any time thereafter if the service changes materially. Continued use of the tool after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of those terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.

Governing law

No governing law or jurisdiction is specified until a legal entity is registered and these terms are finalized.
